Sell Your Enrichment Centre in Singapore
Edugrow sells enrichment centres (art, music, STEM, coding, speech and drama, languages and licensed programmes) confidentially to vetted operators and investors. A typical sale takes 4 to 9 months from mandate to completion, and your centre is marketed under an anonymous code until a buyer has signed an NDA. Edugrow has advised on 70+ education business transactions in Singapore since 2014.
Buyers pay most for an enrichment centre whose students stay for the programme rather than for one instructor. We help you show that clearly, price the centre on the profit a buyer will accept, deal early with any franchisor or licensor consent, and run the sale without unsettling your students, parents or teachers.
What buyers look for
- Students who stay for the programme, with re-enrolment tracked term by term
- Teachers, not just the founder, running most of the classes
- A curriculum the centre owns, or a franchise or licence that allows a sale or change of control
- MOE registration in order where the centre must register (generally where 10 or more persons are taught)
- A clear register of unused prepaid lesson packages
- A lease with enough time left to give the buyer a run at the business

How we sell your enrichment centre
- 1
Confidential first conversation
We learn how the centre runs, why you are thinking of selling and what matters to you beyond the price. Free, and nothing is shared without your consent.
- 2
Written valuation
We rebuild your profit the way a buyer will, look at re-enrolment, how much of the teaching you do yourself and who owns the curriculum, and set an asking price buyers will support.
- 3
Preparation
An anonymous teaser and an information pack, with the answers buyers always ask about students, teachers, the curriculum or franchise terms, the lease and prepaid packages.
- 4
Confidential buyer outreach
We approach operators and investors we know are looking, under an anonymous code. Identifying details are released only after a buyer signs an NDA.
- 5
Offers and negotiation
We compare offers like for like, including structure, handover and any deferred payments, and negotiate the letter of intent.
- 6
Due diligence to completion
We manage the buyer's questions, the Sale and Purchase Agreement, franchisor or licensor consent, MOE and landlord matters, and the handover of students, teachers and parents.
Guides for enrichment centre owners
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to sell an enrichment centre?
A typical Edugrow sale takes 4 to 9 months from mandate to completion. Timing depends on how quickly the right buyer is found, how prepared your records are, whether a franchisor or licensor has to consent, and how long the lease, MOE and handover arrangements take to settle.
Does my enrichment centre need MOE registration to be sold?
Under the Education Act 1957, a place providing education for 10 or more persons is a school and must be registered with MOE (s2 and s21), and MOE says tuition and enrichment centres must register. In a share sale the registered company stays the same and new owners join the Committee of Management. MOE's published pages do not describe passing a registration to a new company, so confirm with MOE before completion.
What if I run a franchised or licensed programme?
Check the agreement first: franchise and curriculum licence agreements commonly restrict a transfer, and often a change of control, without the licensor's approval. We read the agreement early and approach the franchisor at the right point, so consent does not hold up completion.
What is my enrichment centre worth?
Profitable enrichment centres are usually priced on maintainable profit multiplied by a multiple. The multiple is higher when students stay for the programme and the centre does not depend on you teaching. The valuation calculator on our site gives you an indicative range in two minutes, at no cost, and a written valuation sets out where your centre sits and why.
How do your fees work?
Edugrow charges a success fee on the sale, with no retainer. A written valuation is a fixed fee, credited in full against the success fee if you sign with us within 6 months. The first conversation and a written recommendation are free.
